About this deal

The far corners lose some sharpness but since the image is so large my eyes never go anywhere near the edges so all I see is a perfectly sharp image. My one criticism (maybe) would be the strap, which although strong is thin and not so comfortable to sling over the neck or shoulder for longer periods of time. Knasal: I have little star gazing experience through many IOS applications like skyguide, sky safari, stellarium, night sky with naked eye not with binoculars.

Also, bear in mind that besides spotting tiny moons around Jupiter, only telescopes provide those nice views of them planets as fully-featured discs, not binos. The Olympus Binoculars 10×50 are one of the most promising entry level binoculars that easily fit in your backpack. Having lots of fun, as you and your nephews clearly had this weekend, is definitely the key to getting hooked for life in this rewarding hobby. At Kiwi Binoculars, we carry an array of different high-quality binoculars, monoculars, spotting scopes and telescopes. Image quality is bright and clear, good in low light, and the build is solid and sturdy, although the body is quite long and narrow like a Zeiss 10x40 Dialyt/Classic. They still can be hand held but they provide enough light grasp and magnification to provide some good views of the night sky as well as birds and other things terrestrial.

You can access, rectify and delete your data, as well as exercise other rights by consulting the additional and detailed information on data protection in our Privacy Policy. The strap problem is easily solved, I always attached PeakDesign connectors to my cameras and binoculars so I can use comfy wide PeakDesign straps with them, this helps spread the weight around your neck but if you are looking for a pair of travel binoculars, look elsewhere. The units are finished in matte black, thereby reducing reflection off the surface so as not to startle the subject being observed.

Olympus 10×50 Dpsi Binoculars have a special monolayer coating on the inside of the barrels, which blocks the glare from UV rays of the sun to give you clear images. These 10×50 wide angle binoculars are not only stylish but extremely easy for a beginner to use while exploring. Teenagers may want to see things right away: if you are hand holding binoculars it is going to be a little difficult to hand them off to them so they can point them to the same spot. Just start off by, naturally, matching what you see on the printed page to whatever is clearly on the sky, by recognising the most conspicuous constellations first (which IMO, on early evening at the moment would be Ursa Minor, Cassiopeia and its "W" shape, Scorpius, Sagittarius, Corona Borealis, to name a few) along with essy-to-spot bright stars, such as Arcturus, in Bootes, Vega in Lyra and Altair in Aquila, Polaris. For all those interested in bird watching, trekking, visiting a wildlife sanctuary or exploring historical places, a pair of binoculars is the first and most important piece of equipment to carry along. Featuring durable high-quality finish and extra wide field of view of 65° the DPS I Series let you discover the expansive nature around you with ease.
