About this deal

New York Times bestselling author of Hopeless joins forces with the New York Times bestselling author of Mud Vein. This time we get to see snippets of Silas and Charlies past, through letters written to each other, or journal entries. Every memory they had lovingly crafted and created throughout their lives has been reduced to rubble and rumour, leaving Silas and Charlie the monumental task of piecing their love back together, one brick at a time. I really liked this book, because it shows readers what its like to experience things that not many do.

We only get tiny scraps of clues that still don’t lead us to how or why Charlie and Silas keep losing their memories every 48 hours.Never Never is the brain child of New York Times Bestselling authors Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher. I'm not trying to be smug or anything but somehow I had a feeling the book was going to start that way and was going to end that particular way too. Since this book is as short as part one (review here), I’m not gonna say much about the plot, because everything seems too spoilery! He enjoys reading contemporary and fantasy novels as much as he enjoys playing video games and baking pastries.

She won the Goodreads Choice Award for Best Romance three years in a row for Confess (2015), It Ends with Us (2016), and Without Merit (2017). In plain English, this means that I may receive a small commission (at no cost to you) if you purchase something through the links provided. But he has all the notes, and the letter so he soon finds out what’s going on and that he has to find Charlie!

From the letters, we also learn more about the troubles in their relationship because of their fathers. That experience eventually became the Never Never series, which released in a three-novella format several years ago. This helped a lot to better figure them out, and even if all the things about their past we found out in part one made them seem like completely different people from the new Silas and Charlie, these letters help to understand how much was just an act. This time around, he has the help of quickly getting access to the letters he wrote to warn himself and Charlie about losing their memories.

Her chapters weren’t necessarily long but I found I got more from them then I was expecting…especially her dreams – I kind of want just a chapter of her dreams. But the more they learn about the couple they used to be…the more they question why they were ever together to begin with. When the part 1 was finished, I was mad because, not only was a huge cliffhanger awaiting me, but there was also tons of unanswered questions. The lack of Charlie wasn’t really a dealbreaker, but I’m hoping she’s going to be in the final instalment a lot more.
