About this deal

Having said that though, the dynamic between Emelin and Creon was perfect - a broody, mysterious bad boy with more to him than meets the eye, and a plucky young heroine who keeps her wits about her and her tongue just as sharp as her mind. The Greatest Secret, the long-awaited major work by Rhonda Byrne, lays out the next quantum leap in a journey that will take the listener beyond the material world and into the spiritual realm, where all possibilities exist. It had a promising premise, but the tedious writing and poor execution made it impossible for me to become engaged in the story or care about the characters despite my best efforts. Along the way, they’ll unlock wisdom for those of us navigating our own coupledoms, and for those still seeking their perfect match.

While there were a few frustrating moments, as there are with most books ((yes, even ACOTAR (my fave)), this series so far - I’m currently 39% into book 2 - which has been so incredibly good. For Arthur Dent, who has only just had his house demolished that morning, this seems already to be more than he can cope with. The whole book is written from Emelin’s POV, so we get to experience everything with her – learning about the world and figuring out her place in it. The story starts in Cathra, a human island that has recently installed an iron ward and believes itself to be freed of the Fae dominion.

A resolve to be a giant among men, to conquer, plunder and seize the greatness that he thinks is his right. They make them at the dinner table, or in a meeting room, where personal history, your own unique view of the world, ego, pride, marketing, and odd incentives are scrambled together. She is 20 years old, lives with her parents still, and lets them treat her like total crap, even though she has magic and they do not.The 9 Step Negativity Detox is a powerful series that will teach you the nine simple steps to free you from the unnecessary causes of negativity in your life.

Em manages to blind the Mother and rescue Creon, and at the end of the novel, they leave together with Lyn and Tared. I don't want to discourage anyone from trying anything by this author as I have loved the majority of her books, but unfortunately A Court of Blood and Bindings was a disappointment for me. There's so much interesting history of the fae and humans and I could honestly picture bits of the history as Emelin learned about it! the other characters, especially as the world truly blossoms in book 2- you truly fall in love with - flaws and all.The rest of the story takes place on the Fae Isles, and more precisely, in and around the Crimson Court of the Mother.
