U.S double vinyl issue of this dope set of the Instrumental cuts taken from the 'Black On Both Sides' album. After signing with Rawkus Records, he and Talib Kweli released a full length album under the band name Black Star, entitled Black Star. If there is a certificate we’ve missed out on then it’s probably for a 50 metre swim badge at the local swimming baths. He met them all with Black On Both Sides, a record every bit as dazzling and visionary as Black Star. Upon its release, The Ecstatic received general acclaim from most music critics, and it earned Mos Def a Grammy Award nomination for Best Rap Album.

i had never listened to this album front to back before but i was familiar with the hits, and holy shit did this blow me away.
